Acquiring an Atlassian Account API Token

  1. Go to https://www.atlassian.com.
  2. Sign in to your Atlassian account.
  3. Click your profile picture in the top right-hand corner. Select Account Settings from the dropdown.
  4. Select the Security tab from the top of the screen.
  5. Under the API token section, click on Create and manage API tokens.
  6. Select Create API token.
  7. Label your token, then click Create. This will create an API token.
  8. Click the Copy button to copy the API token. Save this token as you will need it to complete your integration in Sofy.

Integrating Sofy with Atlassian

  1. Log in to your Sofy account.
  2. Click App Manager from the left navigation bar.
  3. Select an app from the left panel, then click the Issue Tracking tab on the right.
  4. Select Jira, then Next Step.
  5. Provide your organization’s Atlassian sign-in URL. For example: https://www.myjira.com
  6. Provide the email address you use to sign in to your Atlassian account.
  7. Paste your Atlassian API auth token in the Personal Access token field.
  8. Click Save.

This will connect your Atlassian account to your uploaded app.
