Setting up your Release
In software development, a Release is a change or set of changes that is created to be delivered to the production environment. In Sofy, all your test runs are associated to a specified Release, allowing you to track the testing completed before software changes are finalized.
In order to perform manual or automated testing, you must first have a valid Release. A valid Release is one where the current date falls within the current Release.
To create a Release:
- Select Release from the navigation bar on the left hand.
- Click on New Release
- Provide a Release name, description, start date, and end date.
