Observing Slow Performance
After I perform an action on the mobile App, Sofy is slow to respond.
The Sofy platform allows users to test mobile Apps on real devices. If you notice that the Sofy platform is slow to respond after you perform an action on the mobile App, consider if one or multiple of the following scenarios is impacting your performance:
- Slow internet speed:The Sofy platform requires a minimum internet speed of 60 Mbps download speed and 15 Mbps upload speed. If your internet speed is slower than this, it could be causing the slow response times. You can use a speed test website to check your internet speed. If your internet speed is low, you may need to upgrade your internet plan.
- VPN or firewall: If you are using a VPN or firewall, it could be slowing down your network speed. Try disabling these features and see if it improves the response times.
- Other applications running in parallel: If you have a lot of applications open on your computer, it can slow down your network speed. Close any applications that you are not using and see if it improves the response times.
- Computer hasn't restarted for some period: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix a lot of problems. Restart your computer and see if it improves the response times.
Please note that there might be other reasons that impact your testing performance. For example, the layout of your mobile app screen might have a complicated hierarchy structure that require extra time to process, or you may have chosen a device with low RAM, etc.
