Version History

We understand the importance of tracking the changes made to a test case for more effective maintenance. To that extent, we introduce Version History in Sofy test cases that allows you to log your changes for every test case marked as "Ready".

How does Version History Work?

  1. Log in to your Sofy account.
  2. Click on the Automation tab from the left panel on your Home Screen
  1. Open up a test case with Ready status.
  2. You may add/delete steps in the test case. Once you save your test, you can log the changes you made in the description panel that pops up.

Visualizing the Version History of a test case

  1. While you have opened up a test case, you can access its version history by accessing the settings icon on the top-right control panel
  1. Switch to Version History tab

You can now see all the actions logged by the user for this test case.

We want to ensure that our version history feature allows you to best track modifications and maintain transparency in test case management. We recognize the importance of version control in streamlining workflows and will continue to enhance this feature with more capabilities in the future.
